School Introduction

Hujiang Victoria School is a boarding and full-time international school located in the Southern District of Hong Kong. It is the first in Hong Kong to obtain the It is a "one-stop" International Baccalaureate World School certified by the International Baccalaureate Primary School, Secondary School and Preparatory Program. Students in the primary school will go directly to middle school. It was founded by the Victoria Education Agency in 2004 and focuses on cultivating students' language skills, critical thinking and international thinking.
The school provides students with three International Baccalaureate (IB) courses: International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program (PYP), Middle Years Program (MYP) and Preparatory Program (DP). The school attaches great importance to language education, and all secondary school students are required to enroll in Chinese and English language and literature courses to consolidate their bilingual foundation. In addition, students can also take courses in French and Spanish to enhance their language skills. The school promotes an international perspective with bilingual teaching in Chinese and English, leading students to pursue knowledge, skills and establish positive values, and develop lifelong learning abilities in a bilingual and caring environment.
The school also keeps pace with the times and offers digital citizenship classes, using information technology to conduct inquiry learning and teaching students to become responsible digital citizens. In order to coordinate with the curriculum, the "One-to-One MacBook Program" is implemented in the middle school and preparatory programs. The school also has digital ability instructors to assist students in using computers in classrooms and computer rooms.

Public examination results and rankings
Students achieved excellent results in the public examination last year. The International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB) achieved a 100% pass rate, with an average score of 37.3 points. The school also produced one top student and three second-place students. In the same year, two students were selected as the top ten outstanding students on Hong Kong Island in the junior high school and high school categories respectively for their excellent academic performance and rich experience in extracurricular activities.

Entrance Assessment

First grade of primary school:
Applicants will undergo a group interview in English and Mandarin
Selected students and parents will be invited to meet with one of the schools Meeting with senior management members
If a student misses the interview due to illness, the school will arrange a make-up interview within the next few weeks after the applicant submits the medical certificate
The second round of interviews in June or September is only for existing students Applicants whose siblings are studying in VSA and/or are bond holders can participate
New students enrolling in Victoria Kindergarten K3 and bond holders who purchased the bond later may also be invited for interviews in September

Grades 2 to 6:
Applicants need to take written examinations in Chinese, English and Mathematics and be interviewed in Mandarin
Students and parents who are shortlisted based on their written examination scores will be invited to meet with one of the schools Meeting with senior management

Applicants need to pay a non-refundable application fee of HK$1,000
First grade of primary school (2022-23 school year):
October every year Applications for Primary One admission are now open, and the deadline for registration is March 2021
Except for applications from bond holders, all late applications will not be accepted
Victoria kindergarten students or students nominated by bond holders will enjoy Priority Admission Opportunities
New K3 students in Victoria Kindergarten can also apply for Primary One (next school year), but they will not be admitted until there are vacancies
