1. Introduction to the school

Australian International School of Hong Kong (Australian International School Hong Kong (abbreviated as AISHK) was established in 2002. It is located in Kowloon Tong District, Kowloon, Hong Kong, where there are many famous schools. It follows the education system of New South Wales, Australia, and provides Australian high school HSC courses and International Baccalaureate IB courses, aiming to help students successfully study in Australia and Prepare for top international universities. The school is committed to providing every student with the highest quality Australian education and cultivating students' abilities in academic research, cultural accomplishment and social responsibility.

2. Course Introduction

The school provides academic courses from kindergarten to high school. At each stage of learning, experienced foreign teachers provide careful guidance to students, protect students' learning, and ensure that students' academic abilities are steadily improved.

Primary school curriculum (grades 1-6): English, mathematics, Chinese, science and technology, human society and its environment, creative arts, personal development, health and physical education.

Middle school curriculum (grades 7-12): The middle school curriculum mainly teaches students learning skills and academic knowledge, and encourages students to take responsibility for their own learning. In grades 11 and 12, students have the freedom to choose to study the HSC course or the IB Diploma course. Although the subjects available to students in these two courses vary from year to year, they all follow the requirements of the New South Wales Education Standards Agency (NESA) or the IB Diploma.

3. School facilities

The school has a total of 10 floors of teaching and office buildings. Students can write hard or study hard in the bright classrooms. They can sweat on the school's green grassy football field and have a hearty football match. On a hot summer afternoon, you can take a refreshing swim in the school’s rooftop swimming pool, or have a friendly basketball match with your classmates in the school’s gym. The school's building was designed by Lau Siu-shing, who won the Silver Medal Award from the Hong Kong Institute of Architects.
