The tuition fees at the University of Scotland and the University of England are actually similar on an annual basis, but because the University of Scotland requires one more year of study, and it takes four years to graduate from undergraduate studies, the tuition fees at the University of Scotland are about 30% more expensive than those at the University of England.

UK student visa regulations: If you plan to stay anywhere outside of London, your bank account must have at least 1,015 pounds per month, and the annual fee is 12,180 pounds; if in London, the living expenses must be at least 1,265 pounds per month, equivalent to 15,180 pounds per year (about HK$150,180).
