American University

Types of American universities

There are 4,589 universities in the United States, including 1,625 public universities and 2,937 private universities. Some private universities focus on bachelor's education, and 50% of them can issue bachelor's degree diplomas in liberal arts or science. These schools are called liberal arts colleges (Liberal Arts University). Students who want a high-quality, elite undergraduate education can choose to attend these private liberal arts colleges.

No matter which type of university an international student attends, the annual university expenses are approximately HK$400,000.

 American University Scholarships

Even the top 100 universities in the United States can directly admit international students without SAT or ACT scores. If students apply to these universities with SAT or ACT scores, they may also be awarded scholarships of approximately $2,500 per year.
